Tina Judge, FNP, CS
Tina completed her post masters’ family nurse practitioner at the University of Virginia, as well as her psychiatric clinical nurse specialist degree at West Virginia University. She additionally has a masters in counseling from West Virginia Graduate College. Before joining Comprehensive Behavioral Health, Mrs. Judge worked at for UVA Health System on their inpatient psychiatric unit. Mrs. Judge is currently working on a Nursing Doctorate degree through the University Of Arizona. Mrs. Judge specializes in psychiatric medication management. She has resided in the Shenandoah Valley since joining Comprehensive Behavioral Health in 2003.
Timothy Kane, M.D.
Dr Kane is a 1992 graduate of the University of Virginia school of medicine. He also completed his psychiatric residency, where he served as chief resident at the University of Virginia in 1996. After serving as the attending physician at western state hospital and a consulting physician for the department of corrections. Dr. Kane began private practice in Fishersville, Virginia where he has been working at Comprehensive Health Systems since 2000. Dr. Kane has primary interest in psychopharmacologic management, Diagnosis, and inpatient acute management. He also has interests in forensic psychiatry and rehabilitation psychiatry where he serves as the consulting psychiatrist at Woodrow Wilson rehabilitation center in Fishersville Virginia.
Cindy H. Packer, PMHNP, CNS
Cindy completed her Master’s degree and post-Master’s in psychiatric/ mental health nursing at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. She is a licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist. Cindy has practiced previously as a nurse practitioner at The Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail, and at Addiction Recovery Systems in Charlottesville. She has been employed by Augusta Health (formerly Augusta Medical Center) since 2004 as a mental health clinician, providing a number of services including individual and group psychotherapy, psychiatric consultation, and crisis intervention. Cindy is a past volunteer at New Directions Sexual Assault/ Domestic Violence Center, and a past board member of The Mental Health Association- Augusta. Ms. Packer is joining Comprehensive Behavioral Health in 2009 and will specialize in adult psychiatric medication management. She plans to continue to advocate for victims of abuse and domestic violence.
Mary McMasters, MD
Mary completed both her MD and Residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University. She is also boarded in Hospice/Palliative Care and Addiction Medicine. Dr. McMasters practiced in the Sparrow Health System in Lansing, Michigan before joining the faculty of the University of Virginia in 2004. She left UVA in 2009 to enter private practice with Comprehensive Behavioral Health of Fishersville, VA. Dr. McMasters area of special interest is the management of Pain in patients with the disease of Addiction. Dr. McMasters serves as co-medical director of NIH’s Project Remote, a grant to treat the epidemic of Oxycontin abuse in Southwest Virginia. She also serves on Judge Edward Berry’s Advisory Committee and is a Physician Mentor for Suboxone through SAMHSA. Dr. McMasters is Co-Author of Non-Medical Use of Prescription Drugs, a chapter in the new edition of Principles of Addiction Medicine, 4 ed, textbook of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
